General Info & Policies

Location

Timber! Outdoor Music Festival takes place at King County's Tolt-Macdonald Park in Carnation, WA.

Festival Date & Time

Timber! takes place July 23-25, 2026.

Gates open at 2 pm on Thursday, July 23. Attendees must be clear of their campsites no later than noon on Sunday, July 26.

Tents

Two feet of space is required between tents in the General and Quiet camping areas. Set up camp, expecting to have your neighbors within that proximity of your camp.

Be respectful to your neighbors, and please keep noise to a minimum after hours. If you’d like to socialize after hours, please walk to any number of great spaces that are away from campsites.

Prohibited Items

No Outside Alcohol

Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board and King County Parks regulations prohibit outside alcohol at the event.

Any campers in violation of this policy will be asked to take their alcohol back to their cars.

No Cannabis

While cannabis is legal in WA state, it is illegal to consume cannabis in public. Cannabis is not allowed at the event.

No Firearms

Timber! Outdoor Music Festival is a private event and, as a private event, firearms are not permitted beyond our festival entrance.

River Safety

We encourage people to enjoy the river but please be aware that rivers are dangerous.  Floating the Tolt can be an amazing time, but please stay within the property of the park. We have no pullouts below the North border of the park and if you miss that pullout, you are on your own.

Cold, flowing water is a tricky thing so please keep an eye on all children and if you are drinking, don't swim. Please pay attention to the currents, stay safe and have a buddy. There is no lifeguard on duty.

Please read King County Parks Guide to River Safety here.

Ammenities

Drinking Water

There are several water sources around the park and camping areas, including two water refill stations.

Water Refill Stations are available in the Main Stage Food Court and on the East side of the Tolt Suspension Bridge near general camping. Please use your refillable water bottles when possible.

Food & Beverage

We’ve got an amazing lineup of food and beverages.

Check out a preview here.

TRASH

Leave no trace! Pack out what you pack in and help us keep our park beautiful. Dispose of trash, recycling and compost in the marked bins located throughout the festival.

Help us out by going a step further. If you see something on the ground that doesn’t belong, please pick it up and put it in the nearest bin. We’re all in this together!

Thursday: 2 pm - 8 pm

Friday: 10 am - 8 pm

Parental Guidance Suggested

While we love having children at Timber! (always free), we want to remind parents that we believe in an artist's right to self-expression and will never ask artists performing on our stage to censor their lyrics. With that in mind, we highly recommend that you listen to one of our playlists before the festival so that you can choose which artists you may or may not want your children to see and hear.

Shop in carnation

We are grateful to be guests to the City of Carnation. Please show the town respect by being courteous.

Also be sure to check out the local shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Local retailers have everything you need within walking distance of the festival.
